ABOUT
At the very bottom of the great pyramid built by society, beneath even the lowest tier, there exists a group: the Pariahs. They are so completely excluded that their very existence is denied. People pass them on the street and avert their eyes, as if acknowledging them would be a stain. To touch them, to speak with them, to share a meal with them is considered unthinkable. Even walking the same path is treated as contamination. A pariah’s presence is reduced to a blemish.
They are denied the right to live as the subjects of their own lives. Their choices, their dreams, even their hopes are stripped away by the weight of the social order. The only place reserved for them is the very bottom of the pyramid.
Yet the pariah is not only a figure of the past, nor a story limited to one place. It is a hidden reality that exists everywhere — the outsider, the unseen, the ones pushed beyond the edges of the system.
Payhra exists for those who refuse that place.
